Stephen Peterman needs to buy lottery tickets today
The judge, jury and executioner, in this case the NFL, does consider petitions for fines to be overtuned.
And Detroit Lions guard Stephen Peterman is proof that every once in a while you can win your case.
Peterman was fined a total of $10,000 for two chop block penalties in a game vs. the New York Jets last month. According to Tom Kowalski of MLive.com, Peterman received a letter today informing him both $5,000 fines were being rescinded as the league deemed, after review of the film, that Peterman did not commit the penalties he was called for in the game. Both plays resulted in 15-yard penalties.
Peterman might want to stop by the convenience store this afternoon to buy some lottery tickets. Sounds like it’s his day.
