Steve Breaston reunites with Todd Haley
Steve Breaston, who developed into a fine complementary wide receiver when Todd Haley was the offensive coordinator of the Arizona Cardinals.
Now, Breaston will reunite with Haley in Kansas City as the Chiefs, not surprisingly, have reeled in the receiver who is ready for a bigger role. Breaston’s five-year contract will include $9 million guaranteed, according to Jim Trotter of Sports Illustrated.
Now, it’s just Larry Fitzgerald in Arizona where the Cardinals are still working to bring quarterback Kevin Kolb on board. When Breaston was first emerging, he was the third option behind Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin. If the Cardinals can’t get Kolb, you better believe the chances for Fitzgerald bolting after this season will be pretty good.
