Steve Smith getting MRI today

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith left the team's victory over the New Orleans Saints due to a knee injury.

He'll undergo a magnetic resonance imaging exam today.

Smith told reporters he felt something pop in his knee.

He wasn't on crutches after the game.

“I am told that is nothing, but it doesn’t feel like nothing,” Smith said.
