Stokley rediscovers his desire to play

Brandon Stokley admits he was "95 percent" retired when Peyton Manning called and asked him to workout with him at Duke University as Manning was preparing to come back from his neck injury.

Stokley began running routes for Manning and found that he had both the speed and health necessary to resume playing again. Stokley had played in just two games for the New York Giants last year because of an injured quadriceps, and had even stopped rehabbing the injury.

Now, Stokley, who lives in Colorado, has become not only a translator for all things Manning, imparting his knowledge to the Broncos younger receivers, but also he has shown himself still quite capable in his own right as a receiver.
