Strep throat keeps Hillis inactive
The Madden Curse has taken on many forms over the years - from ankle and knee injuries to just plain ineffectiveness.
But Madden '12 cover boy Peyton Hillis has taken the curse to a new level today, as he will not play for the Cleveland Browns against the Miami Dolphins because of strep throat, according to Mary Kay Cabot's tweet from the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Hillis' illness opens the door for Montario Hardesty to start and carry the bulk of the load for Cleveland today.
