Stylez White exploring radio career during lockout
Looking for some work to do during the lockout, Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Stylez White has found a gig where he can talk about his profesion.
White has hooked up with 1010-AM WQYK in Tampa where he can test out his skills for what could be a post-playing career. White has landed a two-hour show that will air Tuesdays beginning at 6 p.m., according to Pewter Report.
The station has also given a show to Yo Murphy, the retired wide receiver, on Mondays in the same time slot.
“The addition of Stylez G. White and Yo Murphy will bring more excitement to the Sports Explosion Network as well as 1010 AM,” station owner Jeremy Miller said. “Both Stylez and Yo Murphy are still very active in the Tampa Bay community, so it makes sense for them to be a part of this network.”
