Suh announces $2.6 million gift during NU spring game
Ndamukong Suh has not cashed in yet in the NFL, but he’s already pledged to give back to the University of Nebraska.
The talented defensive tackle, who many believe will go No. 2 in the draft Thursday night to the Detroit Lions, will donate $2 million to the Cornhuskers strength and conditioning program, accrording to the Omaha World-Herald. He also plans to give $600,000 to the school’s engineering department, making it a gift for brawn and brains.
The announcement was made this afternoon in Lincoln during the school’s spring game and before a near-capacity crowd. It’s nice to see an athlete who will receiver generational wealth with his rookie contract look for ways to help out.
