Suh fined $100,000 by NFL for low block on Sullivan

The NFL has punished Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh for his low block at the knees of Minnesota Vikings offensive lineman John Sullivan.

Suh was fined $100,000 by NFL vice president of operations Merton Hanks, avoiding a potential suspension.

Specifically, the fine stems from his violation of Rule 12, Section 2, Article 5 (a), which outlaws blocks below the waist by players from either team following a change of possession.
