Taylor apologizes for poor performance

Veteran Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor apologized Monday to fans for his sub-par performance in Sunday's overtime loss to the Denver Broncos.

Taylor was repeatedly scorched by Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas who had 204 yards receiving on just four receptions Sunday, including the game-winning 80-yard TD pass from Tim Tebow on the first play of overtime.

Taylor, who did not speak to reporters after the loss, sent out this tweet following the game: "I apologize for playing the worst game at the wrong time apologize to my teammates steelernation and family. Luv y'all to def."
