Taylor Lewan assault trial coming in October
Tennessee Titans rookie offensive tackle Taylor Lewan isn't out of the woods yet when it comes to legal problems.
The first-round draft pick from Michigan is set to return to Ann Arbor for a jury trial in October for three misdemeanor assault charges.
Lewan went to court today in Ann Arbor with an Oct. 28 trial date set.
The Titans have a bye that week.
Lewan is facing one count of aggravated assault and two counts of assault and battery.
Lewan allegedly hit two men. Lewan has said he was breaking up a fight.
A former girlfriend, Alexandra Dileo, told police that "Taylor is lying. He knocked a guy to the ground and punched him."
