Teammates have to prevent Carriker, Jarmon from brawling
Washington Redskins defensive ends Adam Carriker and Jeremy Jarmon had to be separated by teammates in the weight room after a heated altercation today.
Jason Reid of the Washington Post reported that the players were “clearly angry” with each other but no blows were exchanged.
“Yeah, them boys got to rumbling in the weight room," one Redskins veteran defensive player told Reid. "A ton of folks had to try and get them guys off each other."
Carriker has fit in well to the Redskins’ 3-4 scheme while Jarmon, selected in the supplemental draft in 2009, has struggled with the transition. Obviously, something set them off.
