Tebow, Sanchez meet the NY media
Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez made it through their first interview session as New York Jets teammates just fine.
Sanchez, the incumbent starter, said he is fine with the questions about his highly popular backup, acquired in a trade from the Denver Broncos this off-season.
"I'm not sick of the (Tebow) questions, but it's only May," Sanchez said.
As for Tebow, he said adjusting to the No. 2 role, which will also likely include special teams and wildcat responsibilities, is something he will embrace. Thus far, he said he had only worked as quarterback during off-season work.
"It doesn't change my mind-set," Tebow said. "Whatever they want me to do, I'll do it with all my heart."
Tight end Dustin Keller offered a sarcasm-laced reply to the New York Post when asked about the Tebow factor.
"For one, he brings more media into the locker room -- as if that's possible," said Keller, who said it was "an honor" to answer repeated questions on Tebow.
