Tebow visit brings Dolphins sellout
There are some who might say that by honoring the University of Florida national championship team of 2008 three years after the fact is a sell out on behalf of the Miami Dolphins.
But regardless of opinion, Sunday's game between the winless Dolphins and the one-win Broncos at Sun Life Stadium will be a sellout, thanks in large part to Tim Tebow's return to the state of Florida as Denver's starting quarterback.
According to the Miami Herald, somewhere between 5,000 and 7,000 tickets were sold in order to make the game between two of the NFL's worst teams this season a sellout.
Since the game sold out by honoring Tebow and the Gator champions three years late, perhaps the next Dolphins' home promotion can honor Bernie Kosar and the 1983 Miami Hurricanes or Charlie Ward and the 1993 Florida State Seminoles.
