Tebow works his magic again
The legend of Tim Tebow continued to grow Thursday night as the second-year quarterback rallied the Denver Broncos to a 17-13 victory over the New York Jets with a game-winning touchdown drive in the final minute.
Tebow took the Broncos 95 yards in 12 plays on Denver's final drive with Tebow doing the honors himself on a 20-yard rollout run against a Jets blitz, scoring the go-ahead TD with 58 seconds to play.
Tebow finished the game 9 of 20 for 104 yards, but added 68 yards on eight rushes, including the touchdown.
Tebow and the Broncos are now back to .500 and have their first three-game winning streak since opening the 2009 season 6-0. In fact, the Broncos suddenly look like they may be emerging as a contender in the mediocre AFC West, pulling within a half game of the Oakland Raiders, who play Minnesota Sunday.
The Jets continue to flounder, losing for the second straight game and falling to 5-5 after winning three in a row to get to 5-3.
