Temple corner Tavon Young to work out for Cardinals, Titans, Jets, Ravens, visit Steelers, Ravens
Temple cornerback Tavon Young is a fast-rising NFL draft prospect.
He has private workouts for the Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens. He has official visits with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens.
Young intercepted four passes as a junior and has 14 passes defended.
He had 41 tackles, five for losses and a sack and seven pass breakups as a senior after undergoing knee surgery prior to his final season for the Owls.
Although Young lacks ideal size, he is tough and fast and smart.
He has run the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds with a 10-1 broad jump and bench pressed 225 pounds 13 times.
Feisty, Young had five pass interference penalties last season.
