Tennessee Titans reach 1-year deal with WR Hakeem Nicks
The Tennessee Titans announced Friday that the team has come to an agreement with former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Hakeem Nicks on a one-year deal.
Nicks spent the 2014 season with the Colts after spending the first five years of his NFL career with the New York Giants. Last season was a disappointment for Nicks, who never seemed to fully catch on to Pep Hamilton's offensive playbook. He totaled 38 receptions for 405 yards and four touchdowns in 16 regular-season games (six starts) with the Colts. He added 98 yards and a touchdown on six catches in three postseason games.
Nicks is only 27 years old, but he has struggled to put up the numbers he racked up in the first three years of his career. The Titans hold the second overall pick in next week's draft and could be looking to draft a QB of the future.
