Terrell Suggs arrested for driving with suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident
Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs got into a minor traffic accident and was arrested for driving with a suspended license in Scottsdale, Ariz. "According to police: "At 0120 hours, the Scottsdale Police Department received a call of a sound of a collision in the area of Hayden and Thompson Peak. Officers responded and found evidence of a collision in the nearby median. Officers followed a fluid trail that led to the Fry’s Grocery store parking lot at 20427 N Hayden. A white BMW 750Li, registered to Terrell Suggs, was found in the parking lot with fresh damage. Terrell Suggs (33 yrs) was also contacted in the parking lot and he was interviewed by patrol officers. The investigation revealed that Suggs was not impaired and he stated that he possibly fell asleep before the collision. It was also determined that Suggs had a suspended driver’s license. Suggs was arrested at 0203 hours and he was taken to the Scottsdale City Jail for processing. He was cited for leaving the scene of an accident and driving on a suspended driver’s license. He was later released from the jail." According to his publicist, "Suggs was in a single car collision, no one was injured. Police were called and upon speaking with Terrell found his license to be suspended for speeding tickets. He was detained by the police and released a couple hours later. Terrell will let the judicial system take its course and fix his license issues." The Ravens are aware of Suggs' situation: "Terrell made us aware of the situation and we're looking into it."
