Texans fire special teams coach Joe Marciano

The Texans didn't stop with firing head coach Gary Kubiak.

On Friday, the Texans also announced that special teams coordinator Joe Marciano would be relieved of his duties as well.

This is the latest development for a team that entered the season with Super Bowl aspirations, only to lose 11 consecutive games and be swept by Jacksonville.

To fill Marciano's spot, the Texans promoted Bob Ligashesky to special teams coordinator. Ligashesky was a special teams assistant under Marciano.
