Texans land Bradie James

Linebacker Bradie James is staying inside the Lone Star State, but is moving from the Dallas Cowboys to the Houston Texans.

John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reported the news on his Twitter feed.

James had 44 tackles for the Cowboys in 2011 and was credited with one forced fumble. He had been with the Cowboys since 2003 and had been a starter in Dallas since 2005.

He will be expected to compete for an inside linebacker spot with the Texans.
