Texans' McNair: Kubiak will 'definitely be back'

From USAToday.com:

Texans owner Bob McNair said Sunday that he will retain head coach Gary Kubiak after the team notched its first-ever winning season.

"Gary's my coach," McNair told reporters after Houston defeated the Patriots, via the Houston Chronicle. "I know there was speculation that he might not be, but he is. He'll definitely be back. I don't see any reason why he wouldn't be.

"The team matured today. It was a great victory for us."

The Texans finished 9-7 and entered the Sunday night game as one of two teams in contention for the final wild-card spot. The Texans would claim the final spot if the Bengals beat the Jets, who would earn the spot with a win.

The Texans had lost four straight games at one point this season, but rallied to win their final four.
