Texans sign Kendrick Lewis to one-year deal
The Houston Texans have signed former Kansas City Chiefs free safety Kendrick Lewis to a one-year contract.
The 6-foot, 198-pounder started all but one game last season for Kansas City.
He recorded 56 tackles, three for losses, one interception, four pass deflections and two quarterback pressures.
Drafted in the fifth round in 2010 out of Ole Missi, Lewis started 50 of 53 games at free safety in four seasons. He had 212 tackles, seven interceptions, 26 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
