The Houston Texans have waived running back Javarris Williams, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

Williams' spot has been taken by former Seattle Seahawks running back Justin Forsett, who agreed to a deal with the Texans over the weekend.

Williams has not played in an NFL regular season game since 2009, when he played in four games for the Kansas City Chiefs.
