There is far more to Super Bowl XLV meltdown
The trashing of Super Bowl XLV, now nearly two weeks removed from the seating fiasco at Cowboys Stadium, continues.
Paul Domowitch of the Philadelphia Daily News digs up some more interesting information, news of a second problem for the NFL that may be greater than the first one – the fact that 1,200 temporary seats were not ready for the game.
According to his column, when the tickets fiasco went down, the league took the vast majority of its personnel and sent them into the stadium to help address the situation. In doing so, the NFL Tailgate Party, one of the marquee events of the week, was neglected. Now, this tailgate party isn’t one for Joe Fan. It’s for stars and the executives from companies who pony up huge advertising bucks to the NFL.
