Three injured players return to practice for Giants

Three of the seven New York Giants who missed practice on Thursday are back to work today,

Running back Ahmad Bradshaw, who has been dealing with a foot issue for the majority of the season, center David Baas and linebacker Chase Blackburn are getting work in, according to the Newark Star-Ledger, meaning the Giants are a step closer to being fully healthy for their trip to Indianapolis.

Missing still are wide receiver Hakeem Nicks (shoulder), cornerbacks Corey Webster (hamstring) and Will Blackmon (knee) and linebacker Jacquian Williams (foot).

Giants coach Tom Coughlin said Thursday the team was being “smart” in ensuring they were in the best possible shape for Super Bowl XLVI. The four injured players are expected to be available next week.
