Titans cut Terrance West, promote B.W. Webb

The Tennessee Titans moved on from running back Terrance West, cutting him from the roster as they promoted cornerback B.W. Webb to the active roster. West rushed for 51 yards on 16 carries in two games for the Titans. He didn't play in enough games to meet the conditions of his trade from the Cleveland Browns, so they don't get a 2016 seventh-round pick. A 2014 third-round draft pick from Towson, West rushed for 673 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie with the Browns. He fell out of favor with coach Mike Pettine, though. The Titans are starting Antonio Andrews at running back. Webb was needed with Jason McCourty out for this week.
