Titans cut Zach Mettenberger
The Tennessee Titans cut quarterback Zach Mettenberger.
Mettenberger became expendable when they signed Matt Cassel.
Cassel is the backup.
They also have Alex Tanney on their roster.
Mettenberger started six games as a rookie.
Mettenberger should be able to land a job elsewhere.
