Titans hand out front office promotions
The Tennessee Titans did some front office shuffling on Wednesday, promoting three executives and changing general managers in the process, according to TitanInsider.com.
Mike Reinfeldt, who has served as general manager for the past five seasons, has been promoted to chief opeating officer to replace Steve Underwood, who retired in July. Reinfeldt will now oversee the entire operation in Nashville and report directly to owner Bud Adams.
Ruston Webster, who has been the Titans vice president of player personnel, is Tennessee's new general manager. Webster was an integral part of helping with the draft and evaluation of players and now will be in charge of all aspects of the football side of the organization.
Lake Dawson, who had been a candidate to become general manager in St. Louis, was moved from vice president of football operations to vice president of player personnel, which was Webster's old job.
