Titans, Hutchinson will meet

Earlier in the week, TitanInsider and NFP reported that the Titans were believed to have interest in guard Steve Hutchinson, who had been released by the Minnesota Vikings.

Now comes news from ESPN.com confirming that report and saying that Hutchinson is indeed on the radar of a Tennessee team looking to upgrade the offensive line. The interesting part of that is that Hutchinson, who is represented by the same firm as Peyton Manning, could be part of a deal to sweeten the pot to lure Manning to the Titans.

According to the report, Hutchinson is scheduled to meet with the Titans soon, an interesting enough proposition given that parts of the Tennessee front office was in Seattle when the Seahawks were burned by the infamous "poison pill" deal that brought him to Minnesota.
