Titans re-sign Otto, in talks with Jones
The Tennessee Titans began the process of shaping their roster for 2012 by adding one of their own free agents back into the fold, re-signing backup tackle Mike Otto to a two-year contract extension.
Otto is Tennessee's third tackle, the top backup behind starters Michael Roos and David Stewart.
New general manager Ruston Webster has also been busy getting acclimated to his new role, as the Titans have begun contract talks with defensive lineman Jason Jones about an extension, according to TitanInsider.com.
Jones, who spent the first three years of his time in Tennessee primarily as a rush defensive tackle, was switched to end last year. But he could get moved back to tackle if the Titans keep him. There are those who believe he could be a good fit as a 3-4 end as well if he gets to the open market. He had three sacks and five passes defensed in 2011 to go with 48 tackles.
