Titans snag veteran wideout Curtis
All throughout training camp Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Reinfeldt had said he would like to add another veteran receiver to the mix at the position.
The Titans fulfilled that quest on Friday, picking up former Ram, Eagle and Dolphins wideout Kevin Curtis, per TitanInsider.com. Agent Bruce Tollner confirmed it is a one-year deal.
Curtis has 253 career receptions in his eight years in the league and once had a 221-yard receiving game against the Lions.
Curtis is getting a late jump on a roster spot with the Titans, but should be decisively in the mix with veterans Justin Gage and Lavelle Hawkins for a roster spot, depending upon whether the Titans keep five or six receivers on their 53-man roster.
