The New England Patriots traded for Tennessee Titans linebacker Akeem Ayers.

Ayers had 104 tackles and six sacks two seasons ago.

He's been active for only two games this season after undergoing knee surgies this offseason.

He had 49 tackles and one sack last year.

The Patriots have lost linebacker Jerod Mayo for the season.
