Titans want to do a new deal for Jurrell Casey

Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Jurrell Casey is in line for a new deal.

And his agent is in talks with the team about a potential new contract as Casey enters the final year of his rookie contract.

No deal is imminent, according to the Tennessean.

Casey recorded 10.5 sacks last season playing defensive tackle.

He'll shift to defensive end in the Titans' 3-4 scheme.

“It’s a new season, a new goal,” Casey said. “Even if I would have made [the Pro Bowl] last year I still have to go out there and prove I can do it again another year.

“At the end of the day I still have to go out there and compete and get to the Pro Bowl and All-Pro as many times possible.”
