Tom Brady has bounce-back game in win
Never count the Patriots out, even when they're at their lowest.
After the Patriots were blown out by the Chiefs a week ago, there was some concern that this might be the beginning of the end for the Tom Brady era. The longtime quarterback had something to say about that.
On Sunday night, Brady took to the air and looked like his old self. He finished with 292 passing yards and two touchdowns in a 43-17 romp over Cincinnati. It was the first time all year that Brady got some help in the receiving game from more than one or two targets
Rob Gronkowski led the way with six catches for 100 yards and a touchdown. Tim Wright had hist first standout game, finishing with five receptions for 85 yards and a score. Julian Edelman added five catches for 35 yards.
Stevan Ridley and Shane Vereen had big days on the ground. Ridley ran the ball 27 times for 117 yards and a touchdown. Vereen totaled 90 rushing yards on nine carries and added 18 yards on three receptions.
Simply put, the Patriots looked like the Patriots. With the Bills on deck, the Patriots will look to continue this trend.
