Tom Brady, Patriots defeat Peyton Manning, Broncos
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady put in another stellar performance Sunday afternoon in a 43-21 victory over the Denver Broncos.
Brady completed 33 of 53 passes for 333 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. It's amazing to look back at New England's first four games and see where Brady was then to where he is now. He's been practically unstoppable in the past five weeks.
Part of that is due to tight end Rob Gronkowski's improving health. Gronkowski had another big game, catching nine passes for 105 yards and a touchdown. Julian Edelman, Brandon LaFell and Shane Vereen all caught touchodwns as well.
Manning didn't have his best game, though he posted some gaudy stats with his team falling behind early. Manning finished with 438 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Demaryius Thomas caught seven passes for 127 yards and Emmanuel Sanders caught 10 balls for 151 yards.
