Tony Dorsett, others diagnosed with CTE

Dallas Cowboys Pro Football Hall of Fame running back, Buffalo Bills Pro Football of Fame offensive lineman Joe DeLamielleure, and former NFL All-Pro defensive lineman Leonard Marshall have been diagnosed as signs of chronic traumatic encephalopathy, according to ESPN.

It's a degenerative condition linked to depression and dementia and caused by head trauma.

Per the report, the three former NFL players underwent brain scans and evaluations at UCLA.

Among the former NFL players diagnosed with CTE: Junior Seau, who committed suicide last year.

Dorsett has said he's dealing with memory loss, depression and suicidal thoughts.

"I've thought about crazy stuff, sort of like, 'Why do I need to continue going through this?'" he said. "I'm too smart of a person, I like to think, to take my life, but it's crossed my mind. I want to know if this is something that has come about because of playing football."
