Top agent Ben Dogra fired by CAA, issues statement
CAA, the biggest agency in the NFL, has fired top agent Ben Dogra.
Dogra represents some of the best players in the business and has negotiated $100 million contracts for Adrian Peterson, Mario Williams and J.J. Watt.
He also represents A.J. Green, Richard Sherman and Patrick Willis.
Dogra is on the Forbes' list as one of the most powerful sports agents in the business.
"I want to thank CAA for the great time we have had together," Dogra said in a statement. "There are absolutely no hard feelings about my moving on, and I am excited to be writing a new chapter in my sports agency career. I am really looking forward to bigger and better things in the NFL agency business, and I will continue to always be devoted to the best interest of my clients."
