Top Post-Season Risers: LB/DB

Which prospects have helped themselves the most this post-season…

OLB Demario Davis: Arkansas State (6-3, 230)
One of the biggest surprises on tape this year and has only moved up draft boards this post-season as well. Was explosive, instinctive and always making plays on the football. Looks like a starting caliber linebacker either inside or out in a 43 scheme.

Draft Stock: 3rd Round

RobinsonICONRobinson ran his way up draft boards.

ILB Mychal Kendricks: California (6-0, 240)
Is a thick, shorter compact backer who explodes through contact and is a real violent striker. Finds the ball quickly vs. the run and has the range to make plays in pursuit. Lacks ideal size however to stack and shed and lacks a great feel in zone. However, as a thumper inside with the potential to get into the backfield as a blitzer who should get plenty of looks from 34 teams in need of a versatile, high motor backer.

Draft Stock: 3rd Round

CB Josh Robinson: Central Florida (5-10, 192)
Robinson is a talented corner. He's fluid, can really run and has the vertical speed to make up for a false step at the college level. He's also a guy who will tackle and isn't afraid to mix it up inside. And because of his top-end speed at the Combine, looks like a potential late first/second round guy.

Draft Stock: 2nd Round

FS Christian Thompson: South Carolina State (6-0, 213)
He's a good athlete who has some talent. Needs to do a better job finding the football, but can change directions and has some speed to his game as well when tracking the football. Ran well at the NFL Combine and his size/speed combo will likely get him drafted in the mid-rounds.

Draft Stock: 4th Round

SS Kelcie McCray: Arkansas State (6-2, 195)
He does have some natural coverage ability for his size and runs very well for the position. There are some questions about desire as a tackler and instincts in the deep half. However, a guy at his size with his athleticism will get picked high at the safety position.

Draft Stock: 4th Round
