Trent Edwards picks unemployment over Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins made Trent Edwards an offer after working him out earlier this week, but the quarterback turned it down.
According to Michael Silver of Yahoo, the journeyman quarterback didn't turn down the Dolphins because of money, as was reported to be the case with David Garrard, Edwards simply didn't want to play there.
Not sure what that says about Edwards, and certainly not sure what that says for the Dolphins, who are 0-4 and wound up signing Sage Rosenfels for a second tour of duty.
UPDATE: The Miami Herald reported Friday that Garrard decided he did not want to play in Miami either, choosing not to play rather than sign with the winless Dolphins.
