Tripping penalties add up to leg whip fines for Anthony Davis
A bad afternoon at the office has gotten worse for San Francisco 49ers right tackle Anthony Davis.
He got beat up by Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Jason Babin, who had three sacks in the game, and now the NFL has piled on. Davis was called for two tripping penalties in the game and the league has fined him $25,000 for leg whipping, according to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area.
Per the report, Babin also got fined out of the game. He picked up a $15,000 levy for a hit on 49ers quarterback Alex Smith.
