Vick would welcome DeSean Jackson with Jets

Now that Michael Vick has signed a one-year, $5 million contract with the New York Jets, could a potential reunion be in the works with Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson.

Jackson is on the trading block, and could potentially be released.

The Jets could use a wide receiver to go with Eric Decker, too.

Vick is in favor of the idea.

"If there is an oppurtunity to get DeSean, I'm pretty sure New York Jets fans would be in high favor of that," Vick said during a conference call Friday night. "If (DeSean) ends up in New York, we'll be happy, just as happy as he will be."

Jackson has been Tweeting about Vick. He also Tweeted a photo of Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.

"7&10 Goes down In the books only Been playing together For 5Years & we put in Work !!" Jackson wrote. "Big Time Dynamic Players in This League !! Big bro Was One of the Realist I ever played wit !! LUV"
