Vick's preseason adventure in Cincinnati wasn't pretty
Michael Vick has attempted 22 passes in preseason and has completed three to the opposition as he had a rough outing Friday night in Cincinnati.
Vick was picked off twice by the Bengals and wound up 1-for-5 for six yards with the two interceptions and three sacks. Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid gave the backup quarterback the third quarter to work with the reserve offense and Vick struggled.
It’s not that he was awful the first week out against Jacksonville. In that game, Vick completed 11-of-17 passes for 119 yards but he was also intercepted once.
“It's always disappointing when you turn the ball over," Vick said, according to the Wilmington News-Journal. “Those are plays that you don't want to make, you want to eliminate and give your team every opportunity to score.”
Vick’s next outing will come in Kansas City when he might not get a lot of time with starter Kevin Kolb receiving the bulk of the action.
