Victor Cruz says Giants will be visiting Revis Island

The New York Giants plan on visiting Revis Island.

Repeatedly.

The Giants and New York Jets will have a showdown Saturday at MetLife Stadium with city bragging rights, if nothing else, on the line.

While the Jets and their chatty coach Rex Ryan have been doing most of the talking so far this week, the Giants finally chimed in even if that flies in the face of what coach Tom Coughlin preaches.

Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks called Revis “decent,” according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News. Then, he called him “great” and said the battle will be “even.”

OK. Enough of the wishy-washy stuff here.

Teams aren’t really scared (of Revis) anymore,” wide receiver Victor Cruz said. "He’s got to earn his money this year. Teams aren’t really backing down. I feel like we’re going to do the same thing. We’re going to go out. Until he physically stops us we’re going to throw the ball on him.”

There you have it. The Giants are going after Revis.
