Vikings bring back FB Tahi

The Minnesota Vikings brought back fullback Naufahu Tahi when the veteran fullback signed his tender as a restricted free agent today.

Tahi was tendered at the low level meaning he stands to earn $1.01 million this season. Had another team tried to sign him away, the Vikings likely would have matched the offer.

Tahi has been a blocker for Adrian Peterson and has played a primary role on special teams. He became a target for quarterback Brett Favre last season when he caught 10 passes for 67 yards and a touchdown.
