Vikings could get 'leeway' on training camp plans
There may be some wiggle room for the Minnesota Vikings when it comes to the team’s summer plans for training camp.
The organization has informed Minnesota State University-Mankato that it will inform them whether or not they plan to travel to the campus for training camp by Monday.
But Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports there could be some “leeway” in the event the NFL’s labor situation is resolved later next week.
The Vikings are currently scheduled to report to training camp on July 31 but that date could be pushed back with everything in flux.
Hey, at least we know there won’t be a Brett Favre Watch from Mankato this summer. That much is a lock.
