Vikings interested in Jaguars' Tucker
The Minnesota Vikings have contacted Jacksonville Jaguars defensive coordinator/interim coach Mel Tucker about the possibility of being their defensive coordinator, says the Florida Times-Union.
Tucker finished up the season running the show in Jacksonville after Jack Del Rio was fired, but it appears that he may not be a serious candidate to be the head coach on a permanent basis.
Furthermore, the Times-Union also reported that seven Jaguar assistant coaches are disputing when their contracts are scheduled to expire, with them believing the team may be on the hook to pay them for the 2012 season.
One of the first moves made by new Jaguars owner Shahid Khan was to fire the team's general counsel Paul Vance last week.
