Vikings need Tim Tebow to help sell out Metrodome
How far have the Minnesota Vikings fallen in the last couple seasons?
They are in danger of having their first local television blackout since 1997, according to Jeremy Fowler of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
The club needs to sell nearly 3,000 tickets between now and Thursday’s noon deadline to meet the guidelines for a sellout for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos at the Metrodome.
It won’t be any growing excitement in the Vikings that produces a sellout. But perhaps spreading Tim Tebow-mania could aid Zygi Wilf’s team at the box office. Every one seemingly has an opinion about Tebow, who has a 5-1 record as a starter. Stay tuned.
