Vikings sign Chris Crocker

The Minnesota Vikings have signed veteran safety Chris Crocker.

Crocker played the past six seasons for Vikings coach Mike Zimmer with the Cincinnati Bengals. Crocker also played for Zimmer with the Atlanta Falcons.

Last season, he recorded 37 tackles, 1.5 sacks and two interceptions with one returned for a touchdown.

In 151 career games, he has notched 554 tackles, 14.5 sacks, 60 passes defensed and 15 interceptions.

The Vikings cut defensive end Rakim Cox.
