Vikings signing Corey Wooten to one-year deal
The Minnesota Vikings are signing former Chicago Bears veteran free agent defensive lineman Corey Wooton to a one-year contract, according to his agent, Mike McCartney.
Wooton is a former Bears fourth-round draft pick selected out of Norhwestern in 2010. He was an All-Big Ten Conference selection.
In 2012, Wooton played in every game and started seven with seven sacks recorded. He also scored a touchdown off a blocked punt.
Last season, he started five games and had 34 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble.
For his career, Wooton has recorded 70 tackles, 11 sacks and three forced fumbles.
