Vincent Jackson backs off settlement demands
San Diego Chargers veteran wide receiver Vincent Jackson has halted his pursuit of settlement of his individual plaintiff rights in the Tom Brady antitrust lawsuit against the NFL, according to ESPN.
Jackson has denied seeking compensation in the past, but was reportedly looking for either $10 million or be declared a free agent.
Jackson is the Chargers' franchise player.
Besides Jackson, the other individual plaintiffs include Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Logan Mankins.
Mankins' agent has denied that his client was seeking any special treatment to settle the lawsuit.
