VY agrees to terms with Bills
Vince Young has found another landing spot, agreeing to a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills, according to NFL.com.
Young was the third overall pick in the 2006 draft by the Tennessee Titans, and though he won Offensive Rookie of the Year that season, his career eventually flamed out with spotty play and immature emotional outbursts. The end of his Titans career came in 2010 when he chucked his shoulder pads into the stands over a thumb injury and started yelling profanities toward Coach Jeff Fisher before storming out of the Tennessee locker room following a loss to Washington.
Young then signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles to back up Michael Vick. He got a chance to play, but played poorly for the most part with four touchdowns and nine interceptions, including four in a loss at Seattle.
VY will be teammates with Mario Williams, the first overall pick in the 2006 draft, as Williams signed a mega contract with the Bills. In Buffalo, Young will compete with Tyler Thigpen to back up Ryan Fitzpatrick.
